The kids have become obsessed with tractors and dump trucks lately. Luckily… grandpa Dave has a few of those just hanging around. Eme loves when we can stop by and say hi to grandpa while he is working. She likes to help him pick up big rocks…. lift it super high…. and drop it and watch it smash to the ground. Thatcher is more just in awe with all of it and just loves to take it all in. And who wouldn't pass up a ride in the bucket while grandpa spins you around and around 20 feet off the ground. Right now my parents are redoing their back yard… the perfect play construction site for Eme. After her sleep over, she woke up and looked out the window and couldn't believe what grandpa had done to the back yard. He told her that she couldn't play out there alone and that she couldn't play on the rocks because they weren't stable. She replied, "they would squish me like a bug and my eyes would pop out." I just love this girl… so funny. It's hard to keep her out of the dirt and tractor… she is her grandpa's girl through and through.
