This year... Easter was quite the ordeal and required two full days to have as much fun as possible. We started with an amazing kid/adult hunt and the Hogle residence on Saturday. The kids had the most amazing treasure hunt, followed by an equally amazing adult race for the golden egg. The kids loved it... well most of it... quite a few of them were terrified the second the Easter bunny showed up.
Then it was off to Grandma Candy's for dinner... raining bouncy balls... and a Midnight (8 pm) Easter Egg hunt. The kids loved when it started raining bouncy balls... might have to be a new tradition it was so much fun!
The next morning was a fun kid/adult hunt at the Roberts Residence... complete with brand new bikes for the kids, courtesy of Grandpa. They were so excited... then disappointed when neither of them were coordinated enough to ride them... they are going to need lots and lots of practice.
We finished Easter Sunday with a great feast at Mindy's house... were the twins put on another hunt for the kids... Eme was so excited... she sure loves those girls.
Here are just a couple of shots of them in their Easter clothes... the first set of Easter clothes that is, Thanks Grandma Carey! I absolutely loved this Easter... both kids grasped the concept of finding Easter eggs and loved the hunt. I can't believe how big my babies are... they aren't babies any more!
