Our very first trip up to the lake this year brought with it quite a few surprises. The first was a 3 foot deep hole that Uncle Clint had dug to fix the hydrant that leaked out front. With a little help from Tanner, the two of them had the problem fixed in no time. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. Once we had water turned on to the cabin, we found 13 more breaks and leaks throughout the copper pipe in the trailer. Tanner decided that at that point, why not replace all of the copper in the trailer. He did a fantastic job at that for his very first plumbingexperience. We learned lots of terms that weekend about female and male parts (all applying to plumbing might I add) and got to visit Vic's hardware store 8 times. We now get a discount there because we stop in so much! Once all of these projects were completed, we decided to invite Tanner's parents up for the rest of the weekend assuming that there would be no more leaks, we were wrong. They brought our cutest cousin Jackson up with them. After a long day of driving, playing with the dogs and drinking endless amounts of soda; Jackson wet the bed! Oh well, at least we tried. It was still lots of fun anyways.
