When we first got Bella... she was super hyper and so far from kid friendly... it was scary. She used to back kids into corners and growl. She never bit though... nipped a few times when she was threatened... but not friendly with kids. When I got pregnant with Emerson... Bella totally knew. She stayed by my side throughout the whole pregnancy and became super protective of Emerson when she was born. Now, Eme and Bella get along and play... but not a ton. Thatcher, however, is in love with his buddy and she is in love with him. The kid won't snuggle me... but he won't take a bottle without snuggling his best bud. Where ever Bella goes, Thatcher follows. She is so good with my kids that I sometimes wonder if she is the same dog. It doesn't matter what they do to her, pull her ears or tail, slide down her back or just full on tackle her... she loves it.
