In May over Mother's Day... we were going to Logan and decided to leave the night before and camp out at Crystal Hot Springs... bad choice. We ended up getting there later than we wanted... hurry and put up our tent... took the kids swimming in the mineral pools (complete with poop and throw up)... and settled in for the night. I am pretty sure that neither one of us slept, we were constantly worried that the kids were freezing because we were. It ended up being 35 degrees that night and we only had a couple of blankets... no sleeping bags. At six in the morning, Tanner turned to me and said, "shall we pack up and head to Logan?" I couldn't have agreed more so we took turns staying warm in the car with the kids while we packed up. Grandma and Grandpa were really surprised to see us and seven in the morning... but we had sort of failed our first camping trip with both kids... Now, a month later... and we aren't planning any trips in the near future... may have ruined us.
