Bear Lake Hogle Reunion

Nothing like ending our Bear Lake season with a big old family reunion.  Grandma Annie rented this awesome house right on the beach for all of us.  We had lots of yummy food and treats… played some pretty fun games… and just enjoyed spending time with each other.  We also learned a couple very valuable lessons this year… that we hope to apply to next year: 1. we will not have chili on the very first night, 2. every child will need adult supervision at all times and other condo's do not count as acceptable child supervision, 3. bring ear plugs if you are assigned to Patrick's sleeping quarters, 4. do not spin the children on the playground until they throw up, and 5. when playing volleyball… we will not have team captains and select our teams one-by-one… I suggested we do this the last time and I was the very last person picked… not good for the self-esteem.  It was such a fun trip... I hate that it was so short... can't wait for next year!

Age helped all the kids make super yummy candy apples.
The girls wanted to have their own little slumber party, so we put them on their own air mattress for the night.  Of course Eme ended up in grandma Carey's bed.  Poor Maggie woke up the next morning and was so sad that Eme wasn't there... so Adair told her that Eme got up really early and went out for breakfast... not completely a lie.

I thought... hey... we have no recent pictures of just Tanner and me... why not at the lake?  He took it very seriously.
Metal detecting... on Tanner's bucket list for sure.  Only problem was that he didn't find anything cool after five minutes and gave up... Hollister stuck with it and found several cool things by the end of the trip.

The bee by his face is awesome.

All of the kids... they were all so good all weekend... for the most part!

Katie took these awesome pictures at the park... if you don't get motion sickness easily... this is an awesome photo shoot idea.

The kids always sleep good at the lake... too much fun.
Loved Josh's helmet... looked so funny walking around in it... like a bobble head.

In the process of making a movie... will hopefully post it soon.
