Nothing like a last minute camping trip. Tanner and I used to love to go camping when we were first married and we don't seem to do it quite as often now that we have two little babies. However, the last weekend in August we went up to Crystal Hot Springs for the night. The kids had a blast. Tin foil dinners, swimming in the hot springs, water slides, roasting marshmallows, and all snugging super close; made for an awesome trip. We even got to spend a little time with our friends Shelly and Corbin and their babies. The only negative from this trip was that I had made a promise to myself and Emerson the day before we left, that she would only wear underwear from that day forward. Potty training in porta-potties is not an ideal situation... just gross. And we didn't even hold to that promise for very long... oh well.
