After taking a year off from our annual tree cutting tradition (due to being "homeless") we finally got to get out and find the perfect tree... or bush. We got permits for an area west of Utah lake that we have never done before and it was way different... but fun. The weather was so nice and we didn't have to hike too far to find the "almost perfect" trees. It was so funny because I felt like we went with one of the smallest ones we liked that we had found and it still took up 25% of our living room. After chopping it down and hauling it back... we had a little tail gate lunch and went shooting. The kids had a blast shooting all of the different guns and it was nice to get in a little practice. Even though we had an amazing time... I think we should go back to our Charlie Brown trees for next year!
