Happy 4th of July

Long-boarding with dad... Grandma pearl hates it.

Clapping for the very first time

Adele feeding Emerson some ice... I love it.

Grandma Annie's 5 greats... Watts children not so happy.

Love this picture of Adair's family... Check out Maggie's face!

Can you spot the dog?

Love this holiday and we have seemed to skip out on most of my childhood traditions the last couple of years. A couple of nights before the 4th, we got to watch lots of fun fireworks at the Gatrell's home (thanks Dave for all of the fireworks). Emerson loved the fireworks and her new friend, Adele. After watching and listening to several fireworks, we have decided that Emerson high pitch scream resembles some of the fireworks. Perhaps that is why the noise didn't bother or scare her.

This year we decided to stick around long enough to attend the Evergreen Parade before heading up to the lake. Lots of fun seeing all of the cousins and watching the parade for the first time in years. Emerson was enjoying it all... up until she got hit in the eye with a piece of taffy. It was a great start to our holiday weekend.
