If we thought the zoo was amazing during the day… it is even more magical at night when its all lit up with Christmas lights. Dinner at the Bistro, hot chocolate to warm our hands, ice sculptures, reindeer and a massive goose egg to top it off. Just as we were getting ready to leave… Thatcher tripped in the Reptile house and hit his head on a cement ledge… resulting in an instant black and blue gigantic goose egg on his head. The crack his head made when it hit, combined with the size of the bump… landed us in the zoos first aid station. Good news was that he seemed to be fine… but it was sure scary. Not the best ending to our zoo lights night.
Emerson either hates it when you take her photo... or she goes over the top and has some super serious pose. Cracks me up.
The tunnel of lights over the bridge is amazing... so pretty.
