Easter

This year Easter was a two day event.  First the kids had the Hogle hunt with all the cousins at Grandma Annie's.  She has the very best yard for this and they loved it.  Then we headed to Purser's for dinner and games with them plus a few of the Logan crew.  Second annual bouncy ball drop was just as big of a hit this year as it was last year.  We were then kicked out... so the "bunny" could hide everything.  We got a Rita's and wondered around Scheels for a little while.  Big milestone... Thatcher was finally tall enough for the ferris wheel!  Once we were back for the hunt... the Logan crew quickly learned that this hunt wasn't really for the little people and that the big humans take it pretty serious.  On Easter... it was so nice.  We got to just stay home, have a little hunt for the kids in the yard... and eat dinner with my family.  For the adults... we played games to earn our money eggs this year.  If you won a game, you could pick one of your eggs from the basket and the first person to pick their $20 egg won the golden egg.  Unfortunately for the rest of the group... Tanner tied Josh on the first game and immediately picked his egg.  Not a huge surprise... Alex, the designer of the game... was not to happy.  There is always next year Al.  With all of the fun Easter festivities we had planned over the weekend... the true meaning of Easter can sometimes feel lost.  However, I love every opportunity we get to celebrate the life and sacrifice our Savior made for each and every one of us.  Because of him, we are so blessed and have the opportunity to return to our Heavenly Father.  As a parent, I can finally understand how important it is to our Heavenly Father that we do our very best to return to him.  I want nothing more out of life than to have my family with me for all eternity.
