Disneyland

We had such a blast last year at Disneyland over Halloween, we thought we would make another trip out there this year.  We did a child swap this year and Thatch drove with us while Eme flew with my parents.  This year was even more fun because the kids have gotten bigger and they appreciated it so much more.  Luckily, Eme had grown enough that we didn't have to use her boots to sneak her on to any of the rides… she was tall enough.  Poor Thatcher had barely even grown… meaning he didn't even get to ride the little kid bumper cars in the bugs life village!  Another fun thing about this trip was that we went earlier in the month… which happened to be the same week as the Clarks.  The kids loved seeing their friends and going on a couple rides with them.  Emerson's favorite ride this year was the Toon Town roller coaster and Thatcher loved the Monsters Inc. Ride in California Adventure Land best.  We attended another trick-or-treat party… where we scored even more candy than the year before… if that is even possible.  It's hard to believe that we spent most of the party racing through the rides because all of their lines were so short… you would never be able to tell by the amount of candy we still ended up with.  We still had a chance to visit the beach and its no surprise that the kids loved it all except the ocean.  It also took Thatch a minute to commit to getting his hands dirty.   Disneyland really is the most magical place on earth… I just love how much they love it… but I think we are good to take a break for a while… we will see.

Mad Greek is always my favorite pit stop.  Got to love fried zucchini.

I think Eme might be getting a little bit too big for the stroller.

Waiting in line to meet Woody... Shaking hands and hugging him... then getting his picture taken... was probably Thatcher's favorite part about our entire trip.  I think he was in heaven... and Woody was so cute and spent a bunch of time with him.
